Switchgear
was the first product which LK-Nes introduced to the Far East
in the form of the ELC and ELD medium voltage RMU. The success
of these products led LK to increase its product offer to include
low tension switchgear, mainly the DOMINO.
By the late 1980s, there were 6 manufacturing operations for the
DOMINO product in the Far East, with their regional headquarters
and main operating plant located in Singapore.
With the formation of LKE, the Switchgear Division has expanded
its product range to include CUBIC low voltage switchboards with
parts supplied by its partner CUBIC A/S of Denmark, as well as
medium voltage metal-clad switchgear such as the LCA, LCG and
SIMDRAW and SIMFIX which compliment the products of the MVC Division.
Unlike the other divisions of LKE, the Switchgear Division today
operates from various assembly plants in the Far East. The placement
of these plants allow the division to be closer to its client
so as to provide better client services. |
