| The LH-MX series Miniature Circuit
Breaker (MCB) provide 6KA & 10KA short circuit breaking capacity with efficient and
reliable control and protection of final sub-circuit and equipment against overload and
short circuits in commercial and industrial power distribution systems. The IEC/EN 60898 standard defines various tripping characteristic for MCB,
they differ from one another by the response value of the short circuit release :
B characteristic units react at min. 3 to max. 5 times rated
current and are used for short circuit and over current protection in high sensitivity
area such as school, hospital, electronic control systems. |
C characteristic units react at
min. 5 to max. 10 times rated current which must not cause tripping, such as commercial
and light industrial electrical distribution systems. D characteristic units react at min. 10 to max. 20 times rated current and
are used where is a high inrush current peaks occur, eg. With transformers, motors with
severe starting duty or group of luminaries in the downstream.
The LH-MX series
MCB has a current rating from 6A to 63A and
are available in 1 to 3 pole, 1P + N or 3P +
N configurations.
