Application The new metal-enclosure distribution board (DB) plug-in type C and D series are designed for wall-mounting. Both series feature a plug-in facility for easy installation. The plug-in base materials is made from Noryl thermoplastic, ASTA-approved and tested at 130� C. Type C has a depth of 110mm, while Type D is 100mm. Designed to cater for single and three-phase systems, they are suitable for use as load centres in residential and commercial premises. Both series can accommodate up to a maximum of 40 outgoing MCB.

Physical Construction

Sheet metal	The standard panels are made from a 1.2mm-thick cold-roll steel. Electro-galvanised sheet steel can be offered as an alternative and the thickness can be increased to suit specific requirements.
Finishing	The surface of the DB is of a sky-blue colour, epoxy powder-coated with 80-100 micron and oven-baked for a smoother surface.
Neutral / Earth termination bars	Tinned copper terminal bars are for PE and N. The tin plating protects the bars against high humidity that can oxidize the copper surface.
Profile	Rigid and strong C characteristic.
Cover	Both top and bottom covers come with 2" x 3" trunking and conduit knockout system.
Door	Secured by a solid hinge with a 180� opening.
Ingress of Protection	IP32

Others The DB is complemented by a range of LV switch gear components from LK Electric. These incoming components include the MCCB, MCB, Switchfuse and Isolator , all of which can be mounted to the body. High impact polycarbonate windows can be installed to allow easy inspection and maintenance.
