Industry Standards For Over 25 Years
Far East Foam Industries began operations in 1971, founded
by Mr Albert Loo Chia Foo, a sole proprietor, as a trading
and wholesale company called Syarikat Far East Industrial.
In 1978, it started polyurethane foam manufacturing for industrial
use and bedding products for the domestic market.
In
1982, Far East Foam Industrial was incorporated. Exports which
began with 10% in 1987, have increased to the current 70%
for the U.S.A., Japan, Middle East, Africa and ASEAN markets.
In 1991, it went Hi-Tech with injection mould machines and
expanded into advanced spring mattresses in 1992.
In
1995, it was the first and only local company to invest in
the state-of-the-art Cannon Viking Maxfoam production. Presently,
FEF's manufacturing facility covers (approx 12,000sq. meter)
of built-up area.

contribute to Malaysia's domestic and international economic
growth especially in manufacturing by continually upgrading
High operational techniques through the deployment of the
latest equipment and technology to consistently produce superior,
cost-effective products par excellence.
An
award by the Department Of Environment, Malaysia and UNOPS
in 1998 was awarded to Far East Foam Industrial for successfully
phasing out CFC production by the introduction of non CFC
production facilities.
In
1999 more advance technology machineries were acquired to
boost production and product quality. The Company acquired
the first Liquid Carbon Dioxide High Pressure Injection machine
from Italy for moulded productions, a fully integrated CNC
Cutting machine from Germany for enhancing greater flexibility
in state of-the-art PU foam cutting operation and the latest
Automatic Tape-Edging machine from U.K. for more consistent
finishing to the vast mattress range.

Company has acquired the ISO 9002 certification in 1999, with
certificate Number 940.
