The LKE Medium Voltage Components Division specialises in the research, the design and development of, as well as the production of medium voltage switches and circuit breakers capable of service voltage levels up to 36 kV.

Currently the main product groups of the M.V Components Division are indoor load break switches and circuit breakers respectively.

Under the load break switch product group, LKE currently have the LK-LBS, the LK-GLBS and the LK-VLBS types of  switches.

Under the circuit breaker product group, LKE currently produces the LK-VB1 series of circuit breakers for 12/24 kV applications with ratings of up to 2500 A and a breaking capacity of 31.5 kA.

The M.V Components Division carries out in-house product development. On going projects include the development of a new series of air puffer switches,a new series of vacuum load break switches and 24 kV and 40 kV SF6 circuit breakers. Early products of the Medium Voltage Components Division included the ELC-24 load break switch originally from LK A/S of Denmark, the LK-BIS 12/24 series blade isolator switch.

Subsequently our product range expanded to include air puffer switches ( LK-LSW & LK-LBS ),SF6 gas insulated Load Break Switches (LK-GLBS 24), vacuum interrupter switches ( LK-VLBS) and Vacuum circuit breakers ( LK-VB1 & LK-VB2).

Since 1997, the main operational base of the Medium Voltage Components Division has been relocated to Guangdong in China and serves customers from China, India, South Korea, Japan the middle east and south east Asia.

Today the Medium Voltage Components Division has over 200 employees and manufactures more than 10,000 units of switchgear products.
